Hi — I’m Landon,

I grew up in Alpine, Utah - catching bugs, framing butterflies, exploring rivers and collecting everything beautiful. I spent most of my childhood in the mountains and canyons; fishing, catching snakes, learning every species of bird, hiking mountain tops and photographing everything in sight.

A kid at heart

I picked up my first camera when I was 11 years old and never put it down - My mom’s old Olympus from her “secret” cabinet. First it was the classic overexposed sunsets, trees, and flowers, then I was chasing, learning, and documenting every kind of bird in Utah - camera in hand. Soon enough my skill and curiosity moved to the diversity of human beings and before I knew it was being paid to take my friends senior pictures, their bridals, and then being trusted to capture the unique lives, emotions, and special moments of strangers I had never met.

To me, photography is about a lot more than creating beautiful imagery or capturing important moments.

It’s a chance to show you how the world sees you. Your inner world. Your unique existence. A physical art form that displays the universe that is you.

Every person is a unique combination of billions of possible traits, interests, features, and attributes - all perfectly combined to make YOU living in this life, NOW.

  • I am based out of Utah County and Salt Lake Area and consider anything within an hours' drive a part of my commute as a photographer! But I love to explore and am more than happy to travel ANYWHERE for your dream photos!!

  • Absolutely. Traveling is one of my favorite parts of life as a human being. I love to explore new places and revisit the ones where I've made memories. Let me know where you are currently based and/or hoping to capture your photos and we will work out the best plan of action to make it happen!

  • In just a few words; fun, candid, and creative!

    I am someone who has gone from an extremely self- conscious and introverted way of being to someone who has grown to love existing as the person I am in this life with confidence. I love meeting new people and creating connections. I want to make you feel as comfortable and authentic as possible.

    A typical portrait or couples session runs from about 40 minutes to 1 hour depending on the location and lighting. I will instruct you on posing as needed and I like to try lots of ideas and subtle changes to give as many opportunities to capture you in the best way possible!

    I am often told I have a very warm and inviting presence and am great with kids :)!

  • The short answer would be, whatever makes you feel like you!

    I am not a big fan of staged, forced, and overly manicured photos. I want to show you how the world sees you and make you feel like yourself!! So come as you are, dont be shy, and lets be friends!!

    I always come prepared with potential pose ideas and generally try to make every person feel comfortable and familiar in front of the camera so they can get authentic photos.
